Vanessa C. Hawkins
Vanessa wrote her first story when she was in grade five. It was entitled Mutilated and warranted a trip to the school guidance counsellor. Now she delights in genres from horror, humour, fantasy, crime fiction and erotica. With over a dozen publications under her belt, and thousands of books sold worldwide, Vanessa has won numerous awards for her writing, including receiving second place for her novel Dante’s Inferno in the NB Writing Competition, and honourable mention for the David’s Adams Richard Prize. She’s conducted workshops all over New Brunswick, travelled from France to South Korea and now dabbles in paint, acrylics, and the occasional witchcraft when her daughter and husband aren’t looking.
